Domodedovo Airport

In November 2011 specialists of Aurica installed induction systems in Domodedovo.9 areas were equipped with induction systems: international arrivals and international departures areas, domestic departures and arrivals areas, luggage claim area, public area of passenger terminal.

“Domodedovo airport is committed to creating comfortable conditions for every category of passengers,— airport director Igor Borisov says. — We are talking about an innovative system that can dramatically improve the level of servicing hearing-impaired passengers.”

Stanislav Ivanov, vice president of the Russian Deaf  Society, remarked: “For Russia this is the first time an induction system has been installed in an airport or any other public place.” He went onto add: “We welcome the initiative of Domodedovo and hope that it will be supported by other airports, banks, train stations, schools and other public places.”
